As part of the International Energy Investment Forum in Vienna, the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan signed an agreement with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) on implementation of two solar power plant projects. The project underscores Kyrgyzstan’s commitment to sustainable energy development and environmental preservation. The solar plant, once operational, is expected to generate 155 million kWh of electricity annually, contributing to the country’s energy needs while reducing reliance on fossil fuels.
