This research project aims to develop effective modeling and control techniques for a grid-connected HSWES.
It’s simple! Wind turbines and solar panels are the two main components of a wind-solar hybrid system. When the wind blows, wind turbines convert kinetic energy from the wind into electrical energy, while when the sun shines, solar panels generate electricity from sunlight.
These results confirm that the hybrid solar-wind system can deliver power quality comparable to existing non-renewable energy systems. This suggests that the transition to renewable energy sources, while maintaining performance standards, is not only feasible but also beneficial for sustainable power generation.
This hybrid system integrates both solar photovoltaic (PV) panels and wind turbines to generate renewable energy, which is then distributed to the utility grid serving 420 homes within the community.
